Self-hosting

Runs on your infrastructure.

Docker Compose or Kubernetes. No mandatory managed service, no data leaving your network.

Deployment options

Docker Compose

One command brings up a full instance.

Kubernetes

Official Helm chart.

Single instance is first-class

No managed service is mandatory. Redis is optional and only needed to scale across several API instances.

Optional components

Components such as the media server for calls sit behind a switch; an install that does not enable them simply does not show those features.

Flexible topology

Bundled same-origin deployment, or API and web hosted separately.

Architecture

One API, one database, live everywhere

Architecture: the React browser client talks to the Platform API through a typed client. The API stores all durable state in PostgreSQL, sends events to WebSockets for live updates, and optionally uses Redis for fan-out and a media server for calls.typed clienteventsBrowserReactPlatform APIHono · Zod · OpenAPIPostgreSQLAll durable stateWebSocketsLive updatesRedisOptional fan-outMedia serverOptional, calls

Engineering quality

Checked before every merge

Before any change is merged it passes lint, type checks, translation checks, API contract checks, over 2,000 automated tests, security scans and a full build. Database changes upgrade existing installations safely.
